Ford Focus RS 2.0L Turbo Internal Wastegate Actuator (IWG) provides better turbo response and greater sensitivity when managing boost pressures. Designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory part, the Focus RS IWG is easy to install and requires no special tools or fabrication.

We've taken the proven technology from our WG38, 40 and 45mm External Wastegates and applied it to the Internal Wastegate Actuator. FEATURES: Silicone diaphragm with Nomex reinforcement to withstand high temperatures. High grade, billet aluminum construction. Stainless steel rods and connecting clevis for corrosion resistance.

Locking Collar design cap allows for quick spring changes (Options from 3psi to 26psi available).

About Turbosmart Wastegates & IWGs

A wastegate is a valve which controls the flow of exhaust gas from an engine to the turbocharger. By controlling the flow of exhaust gas to the turbine of the turbocharger, the wastegate can control the boost pressure provided by the turbocharger to the engine. The wastegate needs to be correctly sized for the engine and turbocharger combination to give the end user adequate control on boost pressure. 

There are two types of wastegates: external wastegates, and actuator driven internal wastegates.
