All Revo performance Software is designed to safely enhance the driveability of your vehicle, giving access to more power and torque throughout the rev range while maintaining the extensive factory safety mechanisms. Although Revo offers some of the most substantial performance increases on the market, peak figures form part of a much bigger picture and are never the sole focus during development. Revo Software offers a perfect balance of performance, economy, longevity and safety.
The track-inspired Volkswagen Golf R / Audi S3 8V and Seat Leon Cupra boast around 296 BHP as Standard, enough to satisfy most. For those who need more, Revo Stage 1 Software unleashes so much more; increased power, torque and smoother more progressive power delivery without compromising on drivability day to day. The Software is the result of months of extensive development, rigorous testing along with real world performance evaluation on our own development Golf R.
Revo believes in data-logging on the road and racetrack as well as testing in controlled dyno conditions, to give you a clearer picture of the performance you can expect. This plays an important role in the Revo development process, ensuring the highest quality products that perform where and when it matters most. Revo are able to test their products extensively through a global network of dealers, allowing for variance in atmospheric conditions, altitude and fuel quality. Testing products in this way are paramount to ensuring that along with more useable power and torque comes refined driveability, something often overlooked.
We knew Stage 1 would really bring the car to life; by utilising the hardware’s full potential and integrating additional safety features unique to Revo such as Cold Start Protection and Temperature Control which actively monitor oil, intake and exhaust temperatures and reduce power if they get too high, you can rest assured that your vehicle is able to take all you can throw at it.
The following graph comparisons are taken from a Dynapack Hub dynamometer at our UK development facility.

As vehicles are availabe with either a manual or DSG gearbox. Revo stage 1 software is availabe in 2 formats, low boost for manual gearboxes and high boost for DSG and manual gearboxes with uprated clutches. The peak performance stays the same, however in the low boost software option our calibration engineers have been able to use torque management to limit boost at lower RPM before rasing it to the same level as the high boost option. Offering protection of the stock clutch to help avoid slipping and reduce wear.
Using an SPS switch you are able to take advantage of the switch-ability of Revo software. The Patented OBD2 interface is the ultimate compliment to our performance software, giving the user the ability to switch between 2 fuel quality modes (97RON and 98RON) and a stock performance setting via the vehicle OBD port, along with the benefit of a security lockout program (anti-theft). This anti-theft feature will allow the car to be started but then will not idle or run.
Simply select a program, plug in, wait a few seconds, remove the SPS device and start the car. It's simple and there's no fixed switch to install in the vehicle.
